FATUMA: ACTIVIST
Fatuma Musa Afrah (Fadumo) is an activist who migrated from Somalia to Kenya with her family at age three. In 2015 she moved to Berlin, where she founded United Action e.V., an organisation focusing on women and girls’ empowerment. She worked at the German Parliament as a consultant for women and migration and with other international organisations. She has a Bachelor in Development Studies, a Diploma in Community Development and Counselling, and a Diploma in Project Management, Report Writing and Gender. Her first biography Between Cultures was published in German and English.
